It is also useful for providing access to service air-conditioning plants in factories and office buildings. With its strong, simple, practical and trouble free design, Access-Boss is extremely well suited for commercial and domestic applications.

This fully assembled unit, beautifully manufactured comes with fitted architrave, draftseal, counter balancing, adjustable aluminium ladder with the treads being welded into the stiles and fitted fixing clips so you don't have to hold the unit up there while you are installing it. Yes, we also make special size hatches, a ladder to suit your ceiling height on the shelf, optional extras and timber ladders.

Installation: A handy man can usually do all the work, but if you are too busy, installation can be arranged. We also do a lot of installations in commercial buildings where access is required for the service person to check air-conditioning systems on top of the roof etc.

Pick the right location for your access ladder system, it's not necessary to install this new unit in the same place as your existing manhole, if it is in the wrong place. Easy access top and bottom should be considered.

 Intelligent Design Features 

A spring assisted mechanism allows for a quick and easy operation. As the Access-Boss Attic Access Ladder is constructed from welded aluminium it is strong and durable and all steel parts including springs are zinc plated. The ladder is mounted in such a way as to allow clearance between the steps and the ceiling hatch for safer footing (optional handrail and slim fitted architraves are also available). Dust and draught sealing strips are standard on most types. All models feature concealed hinges. The ladder is fully adjustable and easily installed.

Warranty Information

Amboss Domestic ladders are warranted against faults in materials for a period of twenty years from the date of purchase if installed in accordance with the manufcturer's specifications. In the unlikely event of parts failing, it is the buyers responsibility to return any part to Amboss for a free exchange. Your receipt will be required on representation of any part(s) being claimed under warranty.
